School holiday programs with Outward Bound Australia are far beyond a recreational experience. Our programs focus on personal development and family connections. Participants experience challenge and fun, while our expert Instructors dare everyone to realise there is more in them than they currently know.

Outward Bound Australia have a range of school holiday programs for you. We have two Youth programs for adolescents and teenagers aged 12-14 and 15-17 years-old. Our Family program is for one adult and one youth in school Years 5-12. Book your next adventure with us today!
This 5-day program encourages young adolescents to explore their potential through challenge and adventure, supported by our expert Instructors. Activities may include High Ropes, Raft-Building, Orienteering, and Hiking. Outward Bound programs help young people re-connect with what is real and important in their lives.
Strengthen important family relationships with a bonding experience you’ll never forget! Our 5-day family program encourages participants to support one another and connect through dialogue, personal reflection, working together and creating fantastic life-long memories. This is a rare opportunity to see your family in a whole new light.
Personal development for teenagers! Get a head start by adding an Outward Bound certificate to your resume. Navigator is a 12-day personal development experience. It is full of adventure, wilderness, new friends and fun, whilst discovering and developing your potential. You will learn things about yourself you never will in a classroom.
The NAIDOC 2021 theme is Heal Country! It calls for all of us to to embrace First Nations’ cultural knowledge and understanding of Country as part of Australia’s national heritage and equally respect the culture and values of Aboriginal peoples and Torres Strait Islanders as they do the cultures and values of all Australians. This 5-day program suits the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Gold Residential Project.
