Outward Bound is the heart and heritage of outdoor education and still the largest adventure learning organisation in the world. We have proudly delivered life-changing experiences to over 500,000 Australians since 1956.

Outward Bound Australia is an independent, not for profit organization. Through adventure-based outdoor programs, we facilitate self-discovery; enabling people to find ideals and communities to serve, purpose to strive for, and resilience (not to yield) in the face of life challenges.

Regenerate is a 7-day Expedition program near Buchan on the Snowy River. It’s a challenging land and water-based adventure focusing on leadership and envisioning one’s best self. There is an opportunity for a group to have a gentler program, Recalibrate, camped on the river bank waking with yoga, practicing mindfulness and participating in platypus watch, for those who want an outdoor adventure at a slower pace. These programs can be blended to find the balance between adventure and just being in nature for Woodleigh School.

Regenerate: 7-day Expedition Program

Snowy River, Buchan, Victoria. 4 - 10 March 2023

  • Hiking expedition: new campsite each night
  • Peak activity: Climb + Abseil, Rafting Expedition or Cave + Abseil
  • Solo – gratitude
  • Communication and leadership workshop
  • Final participant led expedition
  • Options for yoga, meditation and Citizen Science; river watch and animal surveys
    • Final program design will be in collaboration with Woodleigh School.
