We sent this to our northern NSW, south-east Queensland partners today, 19th June 2020.

“Unfortunately Outward Bound Australia will not be delivering programs in northern NSW in 2020 and is no longer operating from the Uki base.

We will continue to deliver programs from our national base at Tharwa, ACT and welcome hosting your program there. We understand this might be too far for you to travel.

We anticipate running expedition-style programs in northern NSW or south-east Queensland in 2021. These will be traditional Outward Bound leadership and self-development programs with high degree of physical challenge for Years 10 and over.

Outward Bound Australia has not taken this decision lightly. Summer bushfires and COVID-19 have significantly impacted our business.  We are using this challenging time as an opportunity to restructure and regenerate – focused around our base at Tharwa, ACT and in developing a new mobile program model – innovating with challenging adventure programs for impact.

We thoroughly appreciate the support you have shown OBA over the years.”
