Outward Bound Family Adventure is your opportunity to strengthen meaningful family relationships with an experience you’ll never forget. At Outward Bound Australia, we provide a family get-away with a difference. Are you an Outward Bound Alumni? This is a great chance to share an Outward Bound experience with your emerging explorers. Enrol as a family pair or come together as a larger cohort.
Outward Bound Family Adventure is a 5-day interactive program for family adults and young people, where the youth participant is between 12-16 years inclusive.
Create memories and connections you can recall throughout your lives. Take on the adventurous challenges together, including the classic Outward Bound Australia activities such as high ropes, bushwalking and environmental service. Family Adventure includes the peak experience, “Duo”, an overnight campout in the bush, with only your family members! By working together in both your family cohort, and in collaboration with the other families attending, you’ll find you’re much more capable than what you thought.
As a member of the Outward Bound International community, Outward Bound Australia programs deliver on the following outcomes:

Outward Bound Family Adventure can be an introduction to the suite of Outward Bound Australia programs. Many youth participants continue into the Outward Bound Junior and Outward Bound Expedition programs.
