Like all good plans in times of uncertainty, ‘Re-imagining Outward Bound Australia’ is a dynamic strategy that will continue to evolve in response to opportunities and challenges. Significant progress has been made in implementation. It is an exciting time at Outward Bound Australia.

His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley are joint patrons of Outward Bound Australia. This continues a longstanding relationship of patronage from the office of the Governor General and the Royal Family, including HRH Prince Philip who became the patron of Outward Bound Australia in 1966. Dr Beau Miles
Adventurer, outdoor education expert, film maker, youtuber, book author and self-described oddball, Dr Beau Miles is an ambassador for Outward Bound Australia. From wild paddling expeditions and epic long distance bush runs to quirky backyard adventures involving woodwork, beans and whimsical thoughts, Beau’s adventures and storytelling exemplify a curious view of the human condition and the world we occupy. Beau inspires and provokes our thinking, helping to re-imagine Outward Bound and shape future adventures.
