Outward Bound Australia’s National Base is located on Ngunnawal Country in Tharwa at the foothills of Namadgi National Park, just south of Canberra. The area is known for its distinctive landscape, abundance of wildlife and Indigenous and Colonial heritage.

This is the pick-up and drop-off point for programs in ACT. Travel arrangements can also be made from Canberra Airport, Canberra Railway Station (Kingston) and Jolimont Bus Depot.

Outward Bound’s Snowy River site is in Bete Belong North, Victoria, near Buchan on the traditional lands of the Krowathunkoolong people of the Gunaikurnai nation.

Approximately 5 hours from both Melbourne and Canberra, Outward Bound’s property is on the banks of the mighty Snowy River bordering the Snowy River National Park. It’s the perfect base to explore the wild bushland, limestone caves and climbing and abseiling crags that complement our white-water rafting programs on the river.

Outward Bound Australia’s Western Australian outdoor education centre is located on Noongar Country in the breathtaking Walpole Wilderness Area on the coast of South Western Australia. Renowned for its towering forests of Karri and Red Tingle, sandy beaches and dramatic coastal cliffs overlooking the Southern Ocean.

This is usually the pick-up and drop-off point for school expeditions and school camps in WA. School holiday programs may have different start and end points depending on the program.
