For seven decades, Outward Bound Australia has inspired courage, resilience, and connection through outdoor adventure. From the mountains to the sea, generations of Australians have discovered their potential, challenged their limits, and built lifelong memories on an Outward Bound Australia program. As we mark our 70th anniversary, we celebrate the countless journeys, friendships, and lessons forged in nature’s classroom.
This milestone honours our past, our people, and the enduring spirit that drives us to keep exploring what’s possible-together. Join us in celebrating 70 years of adventure.
Here’s what 70 years has taught us: adventure isn’t measured in mountains climbed or rivers crossed. It’s measured in the confidence gained, the communities built, and the lives transformed. That’s why we’re launching our “700 for 70” campaign. Our goal? Raise $700,000 to provide scholarships, upgrade equipment, and strengthen the infrastructure that makes our programs possible. This funding will give young people from disadvantaged backgrounds – those who need it most – the chance to experience a life-changing Outward Bound adventure.
