Complete your Gold Duke of Ed Residential Project with Outward Bound Australia.
We are inviting you to broaden your horizons with people who are not your usual companions and work towards a common goal. Share meaningful experiences through activities and walks on and off Outward Bound’s residential bases.

Arrival: 9:45am on 18 January (Day 1)
Departure: 2:00pm on 22 January (Day 5)
What Is The Purpose Of This Residential Project?
Bush regeneration within the Blue Mountains National Park. Offered in partnership with Blue Mountains City Council and Bushcare. Your activities may include tree planting, weed removal, and litter picking. You will be guided in how to ‘see’ the bush when it is damaged and restored.
You will also take part in Welcome to Country with local Traditional Custodians, and learn how to recognise constellations in the night sky (weather and visibility permitted).
Your Residential Project registration fee includes:
- 4 nights / 5 days accommodation in cabin style rooms with flushing toilets and hot showers
- Guided project
- All meals for the duration of your stay, catered by a professional pastry chef!
- Welcome to Country
- Stargazing instruction
- Campfire night (weather and fire bans permitting)
- 24/7 supervision. Outward Bound team will be with you/your child at all times.
