Alex Green – Chief Executive Officer

Alex Green

Alex commenced as CEO at Outward Bound in November 2017. With a background of leadership in the social impact sector, Alex is committed to helping people be the best they can possibly be. Having served in both executive and non-executive leadership roles, and with particular expertise in financial sustainability, Alex is looking forward to enabling Outward Bound and its team be as effective as possible in helping people to discover, develop and achieve their potential.

A lover of the outdoors who feels blessed to call Australia home, Alex is thrilled by the power of the natural environment and experiential learning to help people transform their lives.

Jason Little – Director of Programs and Learning

Jason has a background working at a senior level in the NSW High School education sector with over 16 years’ experience.  His passion for working with Youth at Risk and a life-long connection to the outdoors led to a career in Outdoor Education.

Jason’s time with Outward Bound Australia started in 2011 and he has worked in various roles in the outdoors industry as an instructor, facilitator, interpretive and eco walking guide, program manager and then General Manager of Outward Bound Australia based in Northern NSW.

As Direct of Programs and Learn, Jason’s focus is the safe delivery of exceptional, creative, outcomes focused programs.

Experiential learning and focusing on the significant shift in young people’s attitudes and thinking are key aspects of his philosophy.


Eva Breidenbach – Business Development Director

Seasoned Business Development Professional with 13 years global experience (United Kingdom, Europe, Australia & North America) in Sales, Business Development and Education Consultancy across the for purpose and corporate education sector.

Eva has been involved with Outward Bound internationally since 2001.  She joined Outward Bound Australia’s Senior Leadership Team as the Business Development Director in November 2016, following five years as Business Development Manager for NSW. She is leading a team of dedicated Business Development Managers and Client Managers across the country to open the great opportunity of experiential learning to as many people as possible.

Eva is passionate about personal development and utilising the outdoors as a medium to facilitate positive change in individuals and groups. She holds a Masters Degree in Education and Sport Science from Heidelberg University in Germany and draws on many years of first-hand experience as group facilitator and outdoor education trainer when working with her clients on custom design training solutions.

Maintaining exceptional beginning-to-end customer experiences for all Outward Bound clients is her daily calling.


Martina Taliano – National Human Resources Manager

Martina joined the Outward Bound Australia team in April 2018. She has extensive experience in the not for profit sector and a passion for leading and managing people to achieve their goals.

Martina’s background in human resource management and community development is a natural fit for developing our staff to provide professional, educative and transformational programs for all participants. Martina’s service with the Royal Australian Navy brings parallels to the traditions and customs of Outward Bound which is an integral part of the inclusive culture we strive to build upon. Martina knows that every person wants to achieve and succeed in life and believes every person should have the opportunity to do so, and that Outward Bound is a powerful way to equip a person to make impactful and lasting change in their lives.

Martina values kindness, honesty and optimism at all times and believes in the good of every human being.
