Instructor Positions: Give More

Our instructors are compassionate and experienced individuals who are selected from a wide range of backgrounds and nationalities. Some of us come through our world-renowned Internship Program and others are what we refer to as 'direct entries'. Direct entries are people who are already experienced outdoor instructors, hold relevant qualifications and have relevant industry experience.

Our instructors facilitate Outward Bound’s world-renowned journey based courses, leading groups in personal development and using the outdoors as a medium to inspire individuals to reach their potential.

Staff Recruitment

We recruit Direct Entry staff twice a year, in January and July. We are commited to the personal development of our staff and strive for ongoing education and training of all employees. A vital part of  this process is our IDEAs Program. Ideas stands for Intensive Direct Entry Assessment and involves 10 days of rigorous training and assessment.
