Program Cost

Program Cost is made up of Deposit and Final Payment. It includes all food, facilities, tuition, use of equipment and transport within the program. It does not include personal travel costs to and from the designated pick up point. Early Bird rates available for bookings made at least 6 months in advance. Alumni rates apply. Program Cost is subject to change without notice.

Deposit

The Deposit is paid on enrolment and is non-refundable. Final Payment: Final Payment is due 30 days prior to the course start date. Your nominated Credit Card will be debited on that date.

Cancellations

Outward Bound Australia reserves the right to retain 50% of the Program Cost should a cancellation of the booking be made between 30 days and 14 days prior to the start of your course. Up to 75% may be retained if cancellation is made less than 14 days prior the start of your course.

Early Departures

Should a participant depart from course prior to completion, the Program Cost is non refundable. In exceptional circumstances, at Outward Bound’s absolute discretion, a percentage of the Program Cost may be held in credit for 12 months and transferred to another course.

Course Cancellation

Outward Bound Australia requires minimum participant numbers for a course to run. If minimum participant numbers are not met, Outward Bound Australia reserves the right to cancel the course. Under these circumstances, the Program Cost will be fully refunded or placed in credit for a future course as per your instructions.

Environment

Outward Bound Australia conducts activities in the outdoors, therefore, courses and locations may be affected by adverse environmental conditions. Planned activities, course dates, and locations are subject to change for safety and/or environmental reasons.

Personal Travel

It is recommended that you make personal travel arrangements that are either exchangable or refundable as Outward Bound is not liable for the reimbursement of lost travel expenses.
