The Learning and Development Department at Outward Bound Australia trains their staff and encourages life-long learning. In addition, it is a support and training provider for the Outdoor Recreation Industry within Australia.

Outward Bound Australia became a Registered Training Organisation in 1999, allowing for the scope to deliver Certificates II to IV in Outdoor Recreation, as well as Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. We have since extended our capabilities to include the Diploma in Outdoor Recreation.

Outward Bound consistently produces over 30% of all Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation Qualifications in Australia, and has a highly regarded reputation.
