The Internship fee is currently $10,000 for Australian applicants, and $14,000 for International applicants.

This covers:

• All training valued at $7,500
• Accommodation valued at $1,620
• Food valued at $2,500 (meals are provided whilst on training blocks, you are required to provide for yourself whilst on leave)
• An allowance of $800 (paid per fortnight)
• Transport to and from operational areas
• Staff discounts at outdoor retail outlets
• National Park fees
• Local phone calls and Internet access.

Are there payment options available?

Yes, all applicants have the option of paying in 3 quarterly installments, or in full. A deposit is required prior to commencment of the course, first installment due upon commencement, second installment due at the three month mark, third installment due at the six month mark. This payment plan attracts an adminstrative fee of $500 for local applicants. International applicants are exempt from this fee.

Is there any financial assistance available?

Yes, Australian applicants may apply for financial assistance, for up to 40% of the course fee. This application may be submitted once a place has been offered on the program.

Does Centrelink provide any assistance?

Yes, our program is registered with Centrelink and students may apply for Youth Allowance, Aus study and Living away from home allowance.
