On the 24th March 2008 we celebrated the graduation of the Juliets at Outward Bound National Base, Tharwa. Long and hard continuous months finally paid off for the eleven inspirational individuals as they completed their eight-month internship. It was a day of celebration and staff recognition as family, friends and Outward Bound staff looked on, while the graduating interns touched the hearts of all who were present.

The Juliets commenced their internship in July 2007 and were joined on their journey by Rosli Abdulah from Outward Bound Sabah and Vincent Ndekezi from Outward Bound Rwanda.
Special awards were also presented on the day including Blue Peter pins and the Stephen Wells Award. The award, in memory of Stephen Wells, is presented to an outstanding intern who meets the following criteria; values, integrity, fostering human potential, compassion, safety, community, service and excellence.
The CEO of Outward Bound; Darren Black accompanied by Learning and Development staff Annette Lee and Marcelo Silviera proudly presented the Stephen Wells Award to Fergus Barrett.
