Course Fee

The course fee is in Australian dollars and is exempt from GST. It includes all food, facilities, tuition, use of equipment and transport within the program. It does not include personal travel costs to and from the designated pick up point. Early Bird rates are available for bookings made at least 6 months in advance. Alumni rates apply. Course fees are subject to change without notice.

Enrolment Fee

The enrolment fee is $200 for all courses. This fee is paid on enrolment and is non-refundable. In certain conditions it may be held and transferred to another course within and up to a maximum of 12 months.

Payment of Balance

Unless prior arrangements are agreed, the full course fee is to be finalised four weeks prior to the course start date. Should a participant depart from course prior to completion, the course fee is not refundable. In exceptional circumstances a percentage of the remaining course fee may be held in credit for 12 months and transferred to another course.

Enrolment Status

The enrolment fee acts as the course deposit and reserves a place on a course. Outward Bound Australia requires a minimum number of participants for a course to run. All enrolments are automatically placed on a waiting list until the course minimum numbers are met. When course minimum numbers are not met Outward Bound Australia reserves the right to cancel the course. Under these conditions the course deposit will be refunded or transferred to another course.

Travel

While travel to the designated pick-up point is the particpant's or the participating school's responsibility, all internal course travel will be provided by Outward Bound at no additional cost.

KEY: ACT - Australian Capital Territory, NSW - New South Wales, QLD - Queensland, VIC - Victoria, WA - Western Australia.

Cancellations

Outward Bound Australia reserves the right, other than in exceptional circumstances, to retain 50% of the balance of fees should cancellation of the booking be made between 30 days and 14 days prior to the start of your course. Up to 75%, may be retained if cancellation is made less than 14 days before the Course commences. Any cancellation by a participant, before or during a course, may incur an administration fee.

Environment

Outward Bound Australia conducts activities in the outdoors; therefore courses and locations may be affected by adverse environmental conditions. Planned activities, course dates, and locations may need to be changed for safety or environmental reasons.
