Outward Bound currently works with communities in Northern NSW, the Hunter Valley, Central Coast, South Coast and Central Western NSW. Some of these Regional Partnership Program have been in existance for over five years. In that time we have served over 1000 young people from those communities.

In March 2003 Outward Bound Australia conducted the inaugural Schools Outdoor Education programs for Airds High School and Eaglevale High School from Campbelltown, southwest of Sydney. 70 students participated in a 5-day Outward Bound experience at Tharwa, ACT. |

2008 will see the 2nd year for an Outward Bound Regional Partnership from the Illawarra / South Coast / Southern Highlands region. Schools and community groups from Woolongong, Bowral, Moss Vale, Goulburn, Shellharbour, Kiama, Nowra, Ulladulla, Narooma and as far south as Bega and Eden, all will have the opportunity to provide experiential learning outdoor education opportunities to young people in their communities. |

Monaro Regional Partnership In 2004 Monaro High School began an Outward Bound Regional Partnership with Assistance from Danks Tryst, Burra Foods, HBOS Australia and the Monaro District Education Foundation. Ever since, they have enjoyed a steady strengthening of local support for this excellent outdoor education program. The Monaro Region encompasses schools and students from Cooma, Berridale, Jindabyne, Nimmitabel, Dalgety and Adaminaby communities. Monaro High School is a learning community with a strong emphasis on the principles of motivation, humanity and society. |

The Hunter Youth Leadership Initiative began in the Upper Hunter in 2000, with individual scholarships to public Outward Bound programs. Since then, over 1,000 young people form the Greater Hunter region have participated in life-changing Outward Bound Outdoor Education character development programs. |
