Outward Bound has been working in Western Australia for 20 years. In that time we have built strong relationships with many individuals, communities and organisations. We are proud to be West Australian and support these organisations. Here's to another 20 years!
The Bibbulmun Track is one of the world's great long distance walk trails, stretching nearly 1000kms from Kalamunda, a suburb in the hills on the outskirts of Perth, to the historic town of Albany on the south coast. It passes through the heart of the scenic South West of Western Australia.
The Track is for walkers only and offers a wide range of experiences, from a gentle stroll to enjoy the peace and beauty of the natural environment, to an epic eight week adventure.
A wide variety of short walks, interpretive tours and accommodation and walking packages are offered by the Bibbulmun Track Foundation. The Foundation also provides a free information service, equipment hire and a range of merchandise.
The Munda Biddi Trail Foundation Inc is a not-for profit organisation that assists with developing, promoting and maintaining the Munda Biddi Trail - Western Australia's world-class, long distance, off-road cycling trail.
Starting in Mundaring in the hills east of Perth, the trail meanders through scenic river valleys and the magnificent Eucalypt forests of WA's South West. The Foundation enlists members and volunteers to assist in maintenance of the trail and organising trail and community events.

Walpole Telecentre is a community owned and managed information and service facility supporting economic, social and educational development. Outward Bound frequently utilises the services offered by the Walpole Telecentre, whose staff are always very supportive. The Walpole Visitor Centre is often an intitial meeting point for our public enrolment programmes. The staff are always extremely helpful. The TransWA coaches stop here.
Outward Bound works closely with the Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) in Walpole to ensure the smooth running of our programmes in the Walpole-Nornalup and D'Entrecasteaux National Parks. The DEC (formerly CALM) have been highly supportive of Outward Bound's outdoor education programs during the past twenty years of operations in Western Australia. The positive partnership extends to providing service projects for our programmes, which may include weed eradication projects or rubbish removal from beaches or other sections of the National Parks, and maintaining sections of the Bibbulmun Track (Outward Bound is an affiliated organisation member of the Bibbulmun Track). Increasing environmental awareness and understanding in our participants is an integral part of all of Outward Bound's courses, and the support of the DEC is integral to this.
