Internship Program - Western Australia

We have traditionally run our Internship Program at our National Base in Tharwa, ACT, we are looking at delivering the Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation program in Western Australia. The course will be a combination of solid technical training, soft skills such as facilitation through to extensive work experience opportunities.

We have Scholarships available to successful West Australian applicants.

THE AREA

This course is set in the subtropical rainforest of the Toonumbar State Park. It is a unique mix of dry eucalypt and sub-tropical rainforest eco-systems. From the top of the escarpment, you will stand in awe of the towering flooded gums bursting through the canopy. The lush region boasts an abundance of interesting, rare wildlife in this area, bird song will accompany your journey throughout.

Activities may include:

Canoeing
Abseiling
High & Low Ropes course

The milder weather in this area makes ideal for our activities during the winter period.
