Overview of the Certificate IV Internship
By the end of the Outward Bound Cert IV Internship Program you will have developed a broad range of technical skills such as climbing, rafting, wilderness first aid, navigation, search and rescue, 4 Wheel Driving and a whole lot more. Your technical abilities will be complemented by a strong set of people skills such as team building, coaching, behaviour management and facilitation techniques.
Some of the things that make our program unique not only to Australia, but internationally, include: work experience being built into the course, travelling to regions throughout the country to learn, being viewed as ‘staff in training’ rather than students and becoming immersed in our community which has a strong international mix of people.
These elements combine to ensure your internship is an experience of a lifetime, full of fun, adventure and personal growth as well as a springboard for life.
The Registered Training Organisation arm of Outward Bound is called The Australian Outward Bound Foundation. Outward Bound Australia is a registered provider of education to international students with the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS membership number 02376G).
