Is there a Recognition of Prior Learning Process?
Yes, any previous relevant qualifications or experience that you have gained prior to beginning the internship can be put towards Recognised Prior Learning.
This may include any overseas qualifications. Any information that you think could be useful should be brought along when you start the program. This includes (but is not limited to) certificates, logbooks, references, or portfolios in any of the following:
- Climbing
- Abseiling
- Caving
- Rafting
- Canoeing
- Roping
- Bronze Medallion
- Vehicles/Driving
- First Aid & emergency response
- Bushwalking/Guiding/Navigation
- Any activities with groups eg; Education/Team work activities
- Any experience with emerging technologies or computers
- Previous instructing experience
